Damie & Rothman was started in 1974 by Robert Damie And Harold Rothman. The two principals began their careers together at a large local CPA firm. They each were partners in other CPA firms when they combined resources.

Meier & Kronglas was established by Ira Meier & Ezra Kronglas in 1986. Having previously practiced together in a larger CPA firm, they ultimately combined their individual pratices to see their firm grow.

The goal of the merger was to unite two smaller firms into one cohesive unit which could service both of the client bases with the same personalized service while adding the advantages of a larger firm.
